Converse: Why I won't put on a pair of flats with my dress

        The first time I saw a girl wearing Hi-Top Converse with her pretty floral dress I just about had a heart attack. I was fourteen. Turns out, I didn't know a damn thing.

          Not only are converse super comfortable and practical, but they do look great with dresses- they just have to be the right ones! I like Hi-Tops paired with miniskirts, or dresses that come to mid-calf. For maxis and knee length skirts, I prefer the low-tops.

    

 For my fellow longboarders, the rubber toes work wonders for avoiding the toe-stub of Toms, and keep even the fanciest of dresses looking not only down to earth, but ready to play!
